In the 1980s and 1990s, the MD80 gained cult status at American Airlines. Now Aviationtag is delivering an exclusive series from one of the machines, officially licensed by American Airlines !

The N922TW was completed on July 26, 1981 as MD81 and only flew for Swissair before it was taken over by Trans World Airlines (TWA) in 1997 and converted to an MD82. In 2001 - together with the entire TWA - it became American Airlines.

In April 2003, she landed in Rosswell, New Mexico, her last stop. Now your hull is experiencing a new meaning: in the form of a limited edition Aviation Day. The series is officially licensed by American Airlines and, thanks to its almost 20 years of retirement under the New Mexico desert sun, comes in a unique retro look with some noticeable scratches.
