The four-engined engined aircraft, the first prototype An-12 flew in December 1957 and entered Soviet military service in 1959. The Antonov AN-12 was a military aircraft made from the AN-8.

Made by Fuselage Creations the Antonov AN-12 is made from the skin of the aircraft. The aircraft was painted a blue and white and Fuselage Creations managed to get the skin of the aircraft to make the tags.
